The honest anti-booster

Tell your PC which app to protect.

Pick the game or program that matters right now. Olicus Focus gives it first claim on the CPU, so it stays smooth while background apps stop fighting it. Stop it and everything goes back.

START FOCUS
Olicus Focus keeping one app in front while the background eases off

For the one app that matters right now.

How it works

One choice. One app protected.

1

Pick one app

The one app you need running its best.

2

It goes first

It gets Above Normal priority. The background eases off.

3

It all reverts

Close it or restart, and your PC is back to normal.

Not only games

You are the boss of your own computer.

Point Focus at anything that needs the room. A render that has to finish, a CAD model, an editing timeline, a stream, a heavy browser. You decide what your PC works hardest for.

The stand

This is not a game booster.

Boosters sell you frame numbers. Independent testing puts the real gain at about two frames, and near zero on a modern PC. So we do not promise them. We do the one honest thing that works: give the app you pick first claim on the CPU.

What FPS boosters advertiseup to +200%
What independent testing foundabout +2 fps

Median across seven popular FPS boosters, tested on the same hardware. The gap between the promise and the result is the whole reason we refuse to make one.

What some of the testers said.

One honest sentence from a tester goes here, in their own words.

The data

Less fighting over your CPU.

Across multiple machines, the background workload gave up around 5 to 7% of the CPU when Focus was on. That is more room for the app you chose, and a cleaner run for it. It is the background easing off, not your FPS going up, and we are honest that the gameplay side depends on your machine, which we are still measuring in the open.

STEP 1

Same test, every machine

A competing CPU workload (3DMark CPU Profile) across thread counts.

STEP 2

Focus off, then on

Your app set to Above Normal, background eased to Below Normal.

STEP 3

Measure the competitor

The effect grows with contention and peaks around 8 threads.

Straight answers

The questions you would actually ask.

Why is it free? Am I the product?+

It is free because it is alpha, because we are a small studio building a name, and because there is nothing to sell. No ads, no bundled software, no upsell, and nothing collected about you.

Will it get me banned?+

It never touches anti-cheat, the game's files, or protected system processes. It only nudges Windows scheduling priority, the same setting you can change by hand in Task Manager. Nothing enters the game.

Windows showed a blue warning. Why?+

That is SmartScreen, and it says "unrecognized app," not "malware." It flags any new app that not enough people have downloaded yet. Click More info, then Run anyway, after checking the publisher reads Olicus Technology and Gaming AB.

Is it really reversible?+

Yes. One click sets everything back to Normal, closing Focus reverts on its own, and Windows resets priority on restart anyway. Uninstall leaves nothing behind, and there is no background service or auto-start unless you ask for it.

What data do you collect?+

None. Focus runs fully local. No network calls, no telemetry, no analytics. There is no server on our end because the app never talks to one. You can confirm it with any network monitor.

Who made this?+

Olicus is a Swedish company building honest hardware and software for people who care how their machine runs, from the Octa V1 case to Focus. We would rather earn your trust than sell hype. Reach us at info@olicus.tech or in our Discord.

Focus. The rest aside.
